The His and Her Checklist
Something old, something new and everything else that brides and grooms can’t forget
Pre-wedding errands and to-do lists can make you feel like a project manager of romantic affairs. Between budget spreadsheets and that ever-changing diagram with your seating arrangement, there’s a great deal of details to remember.
In an effort to take some pressure off the soon-to-be married couple exchanging vows at the estate, we’ve prepared a helpful checklist for the bride and groom.
You’ve got the rings; you’ve got the dress and bowties for your groomsmen, but don’t forget about your wedding vows. Ideally, you’ve written these well in advance (ahem, gentlemen) and have stowed them somewhere safe. In your haste to leave, don’t forget to pack them, give them to someone responsible or e-mail them to yourself from your office account.
A few alternative pairs of footwear are going to be lifesavers. Brides are encouraged to bring a stylish pair of flats to swap out when heels become too much. Also, sunglasses, sunscreen and Advil are highly recommended to have nearby. Nobody wants to start their first day as a married couple with a headache from too many Champagne toasts the previous night.
The fun things
At Azuridge, we’re always armed with an ample supply of bubbles but don’t forget to enjoy yourself. This is where you can delegate. For instance, let us prepare a specialty snack for the room with your favourite treats, and don’t be afraid to ask friends and family to create a few custom playlists with your favourite music pre-loaded. It’s a nice touch as you prepare to walk down the aisle.
